Of Rubble & Renewal – new series

This suite of five image transfer paintings poetically addresses the aftermath and journey of healing after a narcissistic abusive relationship from a few years ago. Thank you to Dr. Ramani for the insights and education to understand narcissistic abuse and how to heal in the aftermath and move beyond it—enormous gratitude.

The images are from different locations. They include an abandoned building that had mostly fallen over in southern Colorado. The turned staircase is from a residential home gutted in Bergerac, France. The 19th-century train tunnel triptych image was taken in Rocheport, Missouri, and the imagery of the two smaller works are from inside Merritt Hill and Bisbee Hill Observation Bunkers in Medicine Bow National Forest in Wyoming.
